ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACTIONS
Accommodation for employees includes appropriate sanitary facilities.
Access routes to drilling sites are chosen and cleared in such a manner that the natural environment is not unduly disturbed.
All refuse and drill scrap is deposited in suitable containers provided for that purpose and suitable precautionary measures are employed to prevent loose debris from spreading. Containers are regularly collected and the contents thereof emptied at Botswana Government refuse disposal sites.
Drip pans and canvas sales are used to prevent pollution of topsoil from spillages of lubricating fluids or fuel from drilling rigs. Where spillage does occur, it is cleaned up immediately by removing the spillage with the penetrated soil.
